Alcohol is not healthy. Alcohol can have serious negative effects on your health. It can lead to sleep problems, anxiety disorders, liver problems, cardiovascular disease, obesity and cancer. These problems arise even with just 1 or 2 glasses of alcohol a day.
Examples of non-alcoholic drinks
Alcohol-free beer, alcohol-free wine and ‘mocktails’ (alcohol-free cocktails). They contain no or very little alcohol. But drink them in moderation, as they do contain a lot of sugar and calories.
More and more people do want to drink less alcohol. Therefore, at a party, choose an alcohol-free drink. This also encourages others to drink less alcohol. So take the first step; in doing so, you help each other!
